How to upgrade your membership

If you have joined as a standard member you may want to upgrade to the +plus membership if you want to use the Eviction Guide, or to take advantage of the long-term savings which +plus membership brings.

To do this you need to re-join as if you were joining as a new member.  However, make sure you use the same email address otherwise the system will set up a new membership account and you will no longer be able to access any saved documents.

Once you have re-joined, email Tessa Shepperson or submit a support request via the green button support service and ask for your existing recurring payment to be cancelled.

Note that if you are a standard member, your membership should be upgraded to +plus membership after four months.  If this is not done contact us via the green button support service and we will arrange for this to be done.

The Eviction Special

If you need to upgrade because you want to evict a tenant, note that you can also upgrade to our Eviction Special service.  

Then notify us, so we can amend our records.  Note that if you are currently a +plus member we will normally refund your +plus membership and backdate your Eviction Special membership to the start of your +plus membership, (although if you would like your upgrade dealt with in another way let us know).

So for example if you joined as a +plus annual member on 1 January and decided to upgrade to the Eviction Special on 23 January, we would refund the +plus membership fee you paid on 1 January and backdate your Eviction Special membership to 1 January.
